Bruno Miguel

Bruno Miguel is an artist, teacher and curator. He was born in 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, the city where he lives and works. Graduated from Fine Arts School –Federal University Rio de Janeiro with a degree in visual arts and painting, he took numerous courses at Visual Art School Parque Lage, participating in the “Deepening” program in 2010, and since the following year he has been a professor at the school. As an artist, he has participated since 2007 in individual and group exhibitions in Brazil and in countries such as the USA, Germany, Portugal, Turkey, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina and Chile. His work is commercially represented by Arteformatto – São Paulo, Galeria Movimento – Rio de Janeiro and the gallery Sapar Contemporary – New York. His works are in important institutional and private collections, national and international, and over the last few years he has been selected by several international artistic residencies. He also curated individual and group shows in London, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
